About Us
Safe Kids Clark County is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of injuries to children. We are part of Safe Kids Worldwide, the first and only national non-profit organization dedicated solely to the prevention of unintentional childhood injuries – the number one killer of children ages 14 and under. One of the more than 600 Safe Kids Coalitions across the country with 23 partner organizations around the world, Safe Kids Clark County was established in Las Vegas in 1993 with Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center as our lead organization.
We are a diversified group of individuals and organizations dedicated to preventing injuries and death to children in our community.
We are composed of hospitals, health organizations, law enforcement agencies, fire departments and EMS, the auto industry, gaming industry, retail industry, insurance companies, doctors, nurses, parents, and, most importantly, KIDS!
